Question

This is a game I thought of that is a mixture between Rollo and Masterword.

Rules:

The host (that's me!!) will start by choosing a word and keeping it a secret from the other players. It can be any number of letters and must be in the Oxford Dictionary: http://oxforddictionaries.com/

My word: XXXX

The other players will make guesses at the word. The host will then score the words based on how many letters were correct (not in the correct spot, just letters that were found in the word). Each correct letter is worth one point.

Billy - NONE = 1

Jane - TIME = 0

Steve - STOP = 3

So...

Billy - 1

Jane - 0

Steve - 3

Paula - 0

If someone guesses the word correctly, they get all of the points for getting the correct letters (in this case, 4) plus 10 points.

Paula - HOST = 4

NEW SCORES

Billy - 1

Jane - 0

Steve - 3

Paula - 9 (4 correct letters plus correct word bonus)

Well, that's my idea! If you have any questions, please ask.

Have fun!!

My word - XXXXXXXXX (9 letters)

It's probably a bit easier or something though. Because you can eliminate a whole lot of letters, and you don't have to do complicated logicky stuff to score points, so it's easier to get onto the scoreboard.

Anyways, my guess:

ABUNDANCE?

Hole: Any word and its perfect anagram will score the same every time.
hmm...that's true... how about if you do come up with a word that is an anagram they get all of the points for that word but don't get the extra 5 points? and then the game keeps going until someone finally 'unscrambles' the word?

MiKi - ABUNDANCE = 2 PROTECTED = 4

MoMa - RESPONSES = 4 PLEASURES = 4 PROCESSES = 5 PRESUMING = 4

Aaryan - DETECTIVE = 4 PURLOINED = 4

Canny - REDUNDANT = 2

Zweefer - IMPERFECT = 3

I'm going to say that I am not going to accept words that do not have the same amount of letters as the actual word... Sorry, Sakura (can I call you Sakura?)

shrug.gifSure.

Were you saying sure to

Should I say if you're right or wrong? Or should I just let you go?
