wolfgang
I love number 14! ...hate (0) ,and feel good with(1) I used the binary notation(0,1)to write the numbers (1 to 14),like this: 1...1000 2...0100 3...1100 4...0010 5...1010 and so on till 14...0111 Now...I gave the same code to each (AD) century ,thus the first century has the code(1000), 2nd cetury(0100),and so on till the 14th cetury(0111),for the 15th century again(1000). And to each AD year, day and hour, I did the same. By joining the codes of (century+year+day+hour)we will have a (16) digits code. so whenever you see alot of(0) in a code,,means an ominous fate to the earth !!! When will the nearest disaster happens?. Note:there should be more than four (0) beside each other in the code. Forgive me if my english is not good enough... 0 superprismatic
It must be the 29th century (2801-2900) with code 1000, the 8th year with code 0001, the 15th day with code 1000, and the 8th hour (07) with code 0001. So, the nearest disaster happens at 7AM on the 15th day of 2808 with code 1000000110000001.

0 Guest
Perhaps i have not understood the question correctly, but does it not state that more than 4 consecutive zeros are required for a catastrophic event and that the NEAREST event should be predicted? 7AM on the 15th day of 2808 will indeed be unfortunate, the apocolypse perhaps! You posted this problem on the 28th November 2010 - 10:15 PM (1110)(0101)(0111)(0101) a seemingly fortunate day. The most proximal catastophic event shall occur in the 21st century on the 16th Dec (this being the 332nd day of the year) 2011 at 3am The binary representation for this would be:(1110) (0101) (1000) (0010) 1110010110000010 Edited December 1, 2010 by Nathaniel O

Question
wolfgang
I love number 14!
...hate (0)
,and feel good with(1)
I used the binary notation(0,1)to write the numbers (1 to 14),like this:
1...1000
2...0100
3...1100
4...0010
5...1010
and so on till 14...0111
Now...I gave the same code to each (AD) century ,thus the first century has the code(1000),
2nd cetury(0100),and so on till the 14th cetury(0111),for the 15th century again(1000).
