Question

mine are a little cheesy... here it goes!

to some it's useful, to others, another thing to waste.

it can become everything, but not a whole lot can become it.

it can be broke up, and yet still be usable.

some throw it away, and some cherish it.

the rich and poor alike dream of it.

it causes some to shout, and others it brings guilt.

There might be more than one substance that does this,

but I'm thinking of only one.

I'll let you guys work this one all by yourselves,

without my interference. (I won't say yes or no, until way later. :))

I second time. And I really like the answer chocolate. =p

I'll try to be unique, though, and throw out an off-the-wall answer. Styrofoam.

to some it's useful, to others, another thing to waste. --It's useful and "disposable."

it can become everything, but not a whole lot can become it. --Boats, roads, walls, cups, coolers, crafts, piping insulation, etc., can contain styrofoam.

it can be broke up, and yet still be usable. --Self-explanatory

some throw it away, and some cherish it. --I don't know who cherishes it...perhaps people with beer on the beach?

the rich and poor alike dream of it. --I'm sure Al Gore has nightmares about it.

it causes some to shout, and others it brings guilt --People protest it. Some people feel bad about the "damage" it can cause to the environment.
