Thunderheads? storm clouds? you can perceive all those images in their shapes.

"dark side of the moon" if it's used as a figure of speech, cd mean a place dark, dangerous, desolate, scary. All those adjectives cd be applied to a thunderstorm, which wd be the "aftermath" of seeing a black cloud shaped like a dinosaur over a tree (appearing to be "on" it"), etc.

"or nothing at all?" nothing tangible, just vapor, ozone & energy
