0 plainglazed
it's said that catastrophes come in threes and similarly I think trouble, bad luck, storms like hurricanes which of all the above, you can see and they kind of split into different parts as well as maybe the category levels 1,2,3. Another thought Ozone (O3) is thought of as ominous but seen? maybe as a result we see smog? does break down, 1,2 from 3. Close as I come to a DN blurt. Guess I'm just confirming that I'm still on the case. Never give up...
0 Guest
I like the guess, but nothing yet When this is solved I betcha it's gonna be a combined "Oh!" and "You're kidding me, really?" moment, combining disgust with enlightenment. At least, that's what I'm hoping for! I'm feeling devious P) Though I probably should mention: the second line is very debatable Also, though this won't help you: the "first" in line five is significant, however, line five is probably by far the hardest to get (not because it's hard or insightful, it's just random), so I would advise you instead to concentrate on the first line. Keep guessing triplets! And meanwhile, I will sit here and laugh maniacally, mwuhahahhahaha! (as you might be able to tell, right now I'm lazy, partially from having an very full stomach, and my brain doesn't feel like exerting effort to solve riddles, or do homework, so I'm just extracting fun from teasing) I betcha after all this build up it's gonna be guessed in the next guess @Plaingazed Hey, DN blurts are trademarked! =P Edited September 1, 2009 by DarthNoob

0 Guest
three-dimensional Good one, but doesn't fit the first line Your spoiler didn't work because of the placement of your bolding Aha ! Got it I think... Acts in a play - Act I Act II and Act III Really good one! Unfortunately, not what I'm looking for. Luckily, I think the first and fifth lines save me, just barely Edited September 2, 2009 by DarthNoob
0 tiger_lily111
time? Sometimes ominous, when I come in three past, present, future; some people find one or all ominous Tangible I am never, well it's not However I am something you can easily see via clocks/watches, mirror (wrinkles & gray hairs!) And I'm the first to split into different Parts each moment of time experiences all three, past/present/future As simple as one, two, and three can refer to times of the day *shrug* Interesting anyway! 0 Guest
All of these guesses are way better than the real answer... Education (reading, writing, arithmatic) And I'm the first to split into different - I don't see it fitting this line Parts As simple as one, two, and three - your guess certainly isn't simple spirits (I'm think the spirits of Christmas past, present and future) Sometimes ominous, when I come in three - your guess is ominous when it comes by itself, or any other combo As simple as one, two, and three - I don't see this fitting Julius Ceasar (veni, vidi, vici) ( came, saw, conquered)...it seems like your clues are almost laid out like this...figured i'd throw this out there and see what comes of it And I'm the first to split into different - I don't see how this fits exactly Parts As simple as one, two, and three - conquering people isn't simple the Godfather trilogy? And I'm the first to split into different - your guess isn't the first cinematic trilogy (or was it? If it was, then woah, that's a creepy cool alternate answer) Forget Coppola! I think I told you once already, look at the word, don't think about it. -.- So, to everybody... Nobody's got the write type of ominous three. Something that gains an ominous quality when put in three, but is otherwise not the slightest bit ominous.
