I admit I haven't been reading this thread until some of the posts today, but since it's now in Others I'm going to weigh in. Science is a state of knowing. Mathematics is a science as are all the other catagories listed above and then some. They are all inter-connected. You can't have the other sciences without math and without the other sciences math would be pointless. The reason there is a definition for infinity in math is because it is possible. On paper and in your mind, therefore it must defined. Do negative numbers exist in the real world or only on paper and in our heads? Science is the persuit to find explanations and definitions for everything around us even if it doesn't exist.

Here's something I find useful when working on puzzles or playing mafia games. I usually keep my display options set to "Linear+" this keeps the first post in the thread on the top of the current page all the time so I can check the requirements in the OP or read the rules for a mafia game I'm playing. If I want to find the post of a particular person that was several pages back ("I gave several hints to my role already") I'll switch the display to "Outline". This will list all the post in a "tree" format with the authors name and the first few words of their post. To change the display settings click on Options in the top right of the screen when inside a thread.

For our purposes let's make some assumptions. Either person will look out of their window at completely random times throughout the day (they have no set schedules and possibly suffer some some ailment that causes them to sleep/ be awake at random times of the day). They live on a well lit street and always have the lights on in the houses if they are awake.

Mrs. Abernathy and Mrs. Beaumont live across the street from each other and like to look out their front windows to see what each other are up to. Just to make sure nothing untoward is happening, one would presume. Mrs. Abernathy will look out her window six random times in one day at equal durations for a total of three hours per day, while Mrs. Beaumont will look out six times a day in equal durations for a total of two hours per day. What is the chance that they will look out their windows and see the other looking back? If the total time spent looking out their windows stays the same, but the number of times doubles for both, does the chance of them seeing each other change? To what?

I agree, none of those actions on Renan's list should be taken lightly. I also think him to be a likely Agent (Johnson?) or Cypher. Don't forget this...

I still think Izzy is the better target. Itachi may not be the Architect, but it's not good for the humans for him to give out IDNE's role, if it's true. What's are you trying to accomplish here, Itachi? I think you should get a block at least tonight. Edit: We'll find out something here pretty soon.

Yeah, during the day of course. Both Smith and the Merovingian have the day/night option. It would be in their interest to off the Architect, I think. (Yeah, what Impy said)

If Itachi is the Architect we can either lynch him now instead of Izzy, but she had better promise to keep the other Rouges in check and only target suspected agents. I'm sure we could put a list together. Otherwise we can live with him one more night and suggest that the agents or the Meroginvian use their RID kill on him since he's just as dangerous to them.

I say we try to lynch Izzy. Even if JS is RID killed he can still lock someone up. I think this happens before they make their actions. Depending on who Izzy is we may be down a RID killer and can try to block the other one. We should make every effort to lynch a baddie and the odds are well against Izzy.

This seems unlikely. There was no mention of Johnson or JS and the only diversion shown was Trinity. There is only one Usable program you could be so the odds of you being a baddie are 10 to 1.

I think the role of Cypher fits him pretty well also. The Keymaker picks a role not a player, so no go on that one. Plus, initially I had my doubts about IDNE, but I don't think we need to worry about him.

This is getting crazy. Maybe JS is the Architect. And reaymond was killed by Cypher? I don't think we want this guy around us. It was bad enough when 1/3 of the time he was spying for the Agents, but now he's killing humans too.
