I thought of some good roles for Mafia V while I was on vacation: * Shaman - an ancient mystic of the north. Is basically the MoE for the Innocents. Also, has an additional spell of casting the 'northern lights', ie, aurora borealis. While the northern lights are flickering, nobody can die, except the Shaman, who dies, cuz causing photons from the sun to bash against the electromagnetic barriers around the earth resulting in the Aurora takes up a lot of energy * Icon - the icon is a celebrity of Pengville. If they die at night, there is a double lynching the next day to avenge them. Ie, someone is selected, the target noted, then another person is selected, and both are lynched. If the Icon dies in a lynching, however, something bad happens that night (not sure if baddies would get double, that may be too extreme, but something). To make the Icon's power not necessarily rest only in death, they would have the ability to (only once) stop a lynching due to their celebrity (if they PMed me in time). Unlike the Mayor, the Icon is not a "confirmed Innocent". They would not be able to stop their own lynching. Not sure about the balance of this role, though * Inuit - the Inuit is a hunter of the ice, and knows when sh*t is going on. The Inuit wants to see the Quarkies outta there. This would be a replacement for the Warlock things Frost and I have already decided on: * Yeti - instead of Sphinx * Penguin Ninja - instead of Ninja

is the new town gonna be Cold, Cool or Penguin-Related? I personally like smaller towns (like Awesomeville) compared to bigger cities. You can't really have a lynching in a big city. w/e. It's your choice, I'll just need to know by the end so I can morph into it in Mafia IV

yeah I have some ideas for rule changes and refurbishing the rules & roles, so I could do that part (with his help of course) and maybe the signup, and then he could be host.... and then I gotta teach Frost all the tips and ins and outs I've discovered after hosting four games so that he doesn't have to learn em on his own and get caught in sucky dilemmas that occasionally peppered previous Mafia games

*wonders how this lynching will turn out* if an Innocent is lynched, the Mafia will kill tonight and then have majority (unless saving roles help, but then it's a tie, and just a hint, the most recent Tiebreaker was Joe's Student after Slick, who was the first Tiebreaker. JS passed on the Tiebreaker role earlier today), in which case they will almost certainly win however if the Innocents can lynch a Mafia, the game will continue to be gripping ;D

it's nothing to do with boredom (the game is intense, lol ) it has to do with game balance, and time- as taliesin said, the flow of information is waaaaay too slow to the Inspector. But the original goal was to not have a Mafia identity every day, that's why it was every odd day- but with QAs, they can take the even slots. This is what it's gonna be for Mafia V: day 1 - mafia day 2 - QA day 3 - mafia day 4 - QA day 5 - mafia day 6 - QA day 7 - mafia hehe I know I'm not gonna be the host for Mafia V but this is the way it's gonna be anyway lol

yeah, I didn't put that rule (sphinx can only be killed on even nights) into Mafia IV by accident, but it would be unfair to impose it now, so that's why I gave everyone a second chance ;D but good game Frozen! enough of this time for the voting!!! ;D
