Sure, but we would need to take a look at the scoring. Host is likely to get more guesses... I can run six letter words through my program to get the average number of guesses to see what those results are. and you fail at mind reading Wombat... ????? 1. BEAST - 0

Starting to think this game has gone silly.

Logical reason why S is the most likely first letter is because if it isn't then one of -OUTH has to be correct and 2 of -COUT has to be correct. ROOST is the only word on my list that fits -OO-T. Not enough to prove the letter but is interesting to me to see.

Have a good SLEPT? edit - Per my list there is a 1 out of 62 chance that the first letter is R. Otherwise it is S. T, L and C are most likely 2nd letter in that order. 50% chance of O in third position. 4th is any number of letters. S and T are the big letters for 5th. SCOUT did well for me so I think so randomness is still called for. By the way, ROOST (not a guess) is the one word not starting with S that it could be.
