I read the entire thing. Now I know how it feels to not know what's going on. Props to you for making an interesting mystery so far. Go to Q lane and block the road. Investigate and interrogate for anything suspicious. Any cops or protection available? If so, bring them all in. Put on a bulletproof vest. Keep rooftops posted for any potential snipers, and keep them reporting every minute or so to let you know if any of your men were taken out. Also, look at the most recent chat with his friend. Track him/her down and hold him/her for interrogation.

So we going in groups or following Brandon? If we're going in groups, send out a messenger (JUST ONE) to ask for an alliance with Col. 10. They seem like one of those big bad groups. If they say yes, great! Ask if you can borrow some of their troops, share any loot and information found. Keep some soldiers there to show peace, but have some C4s at the ready. When something goes awry, well, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. So are negotiations good to go?

Okay, sorry for the delay. I was going through what I would say was the toughest moments of my life so far... My girlfriend broke up with me, and my friends slowly left me, probably because they were sick of me, then I had to act out Hamlet, saving the production by doing extremely fast memorizing because the actress for the queen felt ill... It was one chaos on top of another. But I'm back. INSTINCT 1. You duck and fire a few shots at blind spots, destroying a few cameras and damaging the rest. 2. You run in and destroy any remaining cameras. The room is a square room with cement walls. There is one big treasure chest in the middle. 3. You try to open the treasure chest. It opens, revealing a huge amount of gold and one note. It's another pesky poem. Ugh. You're sick of these. Keep on fighting, do not retreat, proceed on to the rodeo. For there, you'll find love bittersweet, Juliet meets Romeo.
-
I agree with both, but before you do anything, do a thorough scan of the area to make sure it's clear. Hide often at periodic times and at times when you hear something out of the norm ex.) enemy soldier or such.
-
Just call out INSTINCT when you want to use it.
-
So you're screwed. I think I'll introduce INSTINCT. Three times in the mystery, I will do five steps that include combat and stealth. In other words, anything physical. I will lead you (Brian Dennis) based on instinct.

Okay. You do so. There's no one here. There are security cameras though.. Oh crap. You jump out of the way. The bullets fly past. What do you do now?

Great! Any snipers? If not, then use Army 1 and 3 to (in the middle of the night) to set up explosives around the base. Make sure there are no snipers or anything, but if the men get shot, well, use the medics to help them. When you clear your men, detonate the base and rush in with Army 2 to take them out. Any alliances with the other Colonels? If not, then you shouldn't attract Colonel 10's attention too much. If they attack, use Army 2 to "defend" Colonel 9, pretending that their base is yours so that Colonel 10 can take out Colonel 9, maybe. Then it'll be a 3-way battle that you can easily slip out of.

It's a door. with one of those circular door handles. Red, no glass. Black edges.
-
I don't see the sore part... But it could be that you look at your hands and see what you saw. And isn't this an old one?
-
Correct for all of them except #5. It's "ant." The password is correct. You log in and there is a single word document open. It says, "Dear member, enter the emergency room via the red door behind the desk. There are cops here." There is nothing else on the computer, presumably to protect the computer from cops like you. Clever. You still have your 150 men. Enter the room?
-
Correct. And the riddles were the only thing achieved through hacking.
-
This made me laugh so hard I actually fell off my chair.
-
Each line represents a word, and the first letter of each word spells something. (not scrambled, I'm not that mean) "A horse with branch shadows upon, the glass is almost halfway full. Grim Reaper dressed in black and white, Sipping, slipping, cold and cruel. Fire, army, field and theif, Occurs on a fallen egg." This is probably so cryptic, I might give you hints as the mystery progresses. Have fun.

So raid the Sabertooths from all entrances? Roger. With your newly recruited soldiers, you have about 150 men now. There're a lot of entrances, about 15. It's a big building, okay? So you raid in from all entrances. You take the front door, 'cause you're epic like that. Strangely, no one's here. It's a nice little office lobby. You stay careful, because everything that's supposed to be here is here. You and your 10 men briskly hide behind stable surfaces. You're behind the desk. Odd. Even the computer is on. Radio comes in. You're ready for some good news now. "Nothing here, Detective." "Not even a mosquito." "There isn't squat here." Tigrisa comes in. "No one's here, but everything's where it's supposed to be. Any better luck?" Wow. They all escaped - unnoticed - within 1 hour. Now that you think about it, they probably went jumping around the trees and whatnot. But now you have absolutely no clue where to find the Sabertooth.. except for the computer! But now it's in sleep mode, and you need a password to unlock it. Thankfully, it's in riddles. Let me come up with it. It'll be a minute.
-
Correct. You get 75 men to go with you to take out the Sabertooths. When you go in the building, you find that a giant man is there in the way. He's about 6'6", with hands as big as elephant ears. Metaphor, of course. Dialogue: Giant You: If you could please move out of the way, this is Government business. He doesn't move. You: Didn't you hear me? I need to go in. He still doesn't move. You: Okay, I'm gonna count to 3... He doesn't budge. You: 1, 2, 3. He still doesn't budge. You: Alright boys, looks like we'll have to barge in. Sorry, fella. Your men try to cuff the giant, but the giant leaps up impossibly high. Tigrisa says, "Oh, forgot to mention, they're genetically modified to be like cats." When he falls, your men fire at the man. Even though it is point blank range and he's huge, they all somehow miss as the man jumps around. The man roars and leaps downward upon one of your soldiers. Your men dare not fire at the cat-man thing. You manage to scare off the cat by throwing a hand grenade at it. Smartly, you haven't opened the grenade. He yelps then snarls at you. You yell, "RETREAT! RETREAT!" That went well.
-
Sorry for not making the goal clear. You have to destroy the Sabertooths. You want to charge in by yourself or bring a police squad? To get your good ol' elite police squad, here is the riddle: "These flames strike through mist and storm, fantastically as fast as light. And although these are quite the norm, gives most fear throughout the night." I tried to make it as cryptic as possible. If it's too hard, I might give it a little slack. Technically, although it's unfinished, as it has contributed to the story, the Undead counts. That hasn't gone very far, though, so this is the 4th/5th.

You are Detective Brian Dennis. To play this game, tell me what to do and I'll tell you what happens when you do so. You live in Climax City, a city surrounded by Ruralia and Washington City. You are the head of police in Climax City. You have a semi-automatic pistol, a police badge, a lie detector, an iPhone and a contact book for phone numbers and addresses. You also have access to medical info/autopsy, police records, and military support, thanks to saving the world from an epidemic. However, to prove that you are Brian Dennis, you must solve a riddle that will be provided by me. You are sitting in your police station when a woman walks in. She introduces herself as Tigrisa Morian. Dialogue: Tigrisa You: Okay, Ms. Morian. How can I help you? Tigrisa: Can we talk somewhere more... private? You: Um.. okay, why not? We'll go in the kitchen. Tigrisa: No. More private. This is... (whispers) confidential. You: Very well. You both go into an alley. Tigrisa: I'm being chased by the Sabertooth. You: The Sabertooth? Tigrisa: It's a local gang. They harbor tigers and train them to attack who they want. You: So these cats are after you? Tigrisa: Well, I kinda stole the machine that they need. You: Okay. Anything else you need for me to know? I can't work off of just that, you know. Tigrisa: Um.. They're part of the Zodiac Gangs. You: What? Tigrisa: The twelve gangs based off of the Chinese Zodiac who roam around Climax City. (you give an empty face) Oh c'mon, you took out one of them. The Phoenix? You: They're a.. Zodiac Gang? Tigrisa: Yeah. They like to keep it quiet, but everyone knows anyway. You: Odd. So who gives all the medicine? Tigrisa: I think the closest to that are the Vipers. They invented the Basilisk. You: I always thought that the Phoenix was too stupid to invent something as deadly as that. Tigrisa: Yeah. The Basilisk also took out a good number of them, so much so that I took them out. You: How? Tigrisa: ...negotiation. You: Somehow, I don't think it's smart to tell this to the head of a police station. Tigrisa: That's besides the point. Two down, ten more to go. You: Right. And the Sabertooths realized. Tigrisa: Yup. So now they're coming after us. They feel they're in danger. You: Now they are. What else do you know about these... Sabertooths? Tigrisa: Well, I used to work for them. I have their address. You: Right. What do you have to contribute? Tigrisa: Pistol, knife and I have a sniper at home. You: Fight crime with crime, huh? Tigrisa: I'm not as uptight as you are. You: I can see that. Let's go.

What parts were confusing? Like the safe part?

I really need your criticism, guys. Did you like WIT? Any problems with plot? I'd appreciate your reviews.

You run inside to tell Elena about the phone call. (you have her gun, by the way) I can't find a time to put this in, so I'll just say it now. Elena always had it since her marriage to a Mafia boss. Find me the Devil and maybe I'll do it. Your police squad are currently around Billy's house, at the other end of the city. Good luck getting them here before getting shot. You are about to lead Elena and yourself out when a suddenly PLIT rings in the building. You look at the floor. There's a small black spot where the sound came from. A bullet lies nearby. Luckily, the wall is brick, so you and Elena hide behind it. More shots come from outside. You take out your gun and fire some more shots. No luck this time, it seems. You can't tell. Mateo's smart this time. There's more than one sniper. Suddenly, you hear louder gunshots. This isn't a sniper. Strangely, you still hear the snipers firing, but no more bullets hit the floor. You are curious, but know that looking out would be the same as jumping up and down waving at yourself screaming, "Shoot me!" Okay, not exactly, but you get the gist. So you wait for the gunshots to stop. Eight times, someone screams. Then the Mystery Man calls. Dialogue: Mystery Man You: What the hell was that?!? Mystery Man: I told you to take cover. Is m- Elena okay? You: Yeah. She's fine. Just freaked out. Is the coast clear? Mystery Man: I think so. You can climb out now. Remember what I said? You: Yes. I need your name. Mystery Man: You can do without it. You: You sound more and more like a teenager. Wait a minute! (he hangs up) You recovered a recording of the phone call with the Mystery Man. Elena screams, "THAT'S SERGIO!" Just as you thought. Now, you'll just have to find him. You dash out to find the Son and Girl being handcuffed by your police squad, which has just arrived. Dialogue: Sergio and Amanda You: Well. Tried to play valiente and hit the ground, huh? Good job, kid. Sergio: ..is my mom safe? You: Yeah. We've been through a lot to get you. Why don't you tell us what happened? Sergio: ...I... Amanda: It's best we tell him, Sergio. Sergio: ...I can't believe what I did... You: It's fine, no kid should've gone through what you went through. Your own dad kidnapping you... Man... Sergio: No, not that. I... ran away. CONGRATS, YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS MYSTERY! FULL STORY: Elena, as you know, gave Sergio a hard time. You also know that Sergio and Amanda have a tight relationship. (think of that what you will, I meant it as a friendship) So much so that when Sergio asked her, Amanda was willing to run away to start a new life. Their plan was that Amanda steal James' boots and climb up to the top floor of their house, come in through the window, then walk into Sergio's room. Sergio will have packed up everything he needs already. They left via fire exit on the window and took a train to Ruralia. There they were detected by Mateo's Mafia. Mateo sent them out to kidnap the children. They successfully did so. The site of the "maze" was the old base of operations for the Mafia. It was ditched because the police discovered it. Mateo was given a sentence for life, and as more and more Mafioso are getting captured, the more you're getting as they reveal other people to cut their sentences short. Sergio, scared (no doubt) promised never to run away again. Elena promises to not beat Sergio again. Amanda was scolded by her mother, but later, it turns out that Amanda's mom was proud of Amanda for helping her friend out like she did. No doubt saving a lot of lives from the Mafia by revealing it. *** As you look at the last scribble of your detective logs, there is a knocking on your door. Slowly, mostly because you're old, you walk to the door. You open it. Sergio and Amanda are there, looking so much more mature and happy. Behind them is a small child. "Hello," you say, "Nice to see you again." "So nice to see you, too, Brian," Amanda says. "Can we come in?" Sergio asks. You let them in and give them some water. You let the kid on your computer so Sergio, Amanda and you can catch up. They're happily married and have two kids. One's in college, the other in middle school. They told funny stories about what happened after they practically rescued you. Once, the neighbors tried to rally for a holiday based on the day that they were returned. You remember vaguely stopping them from doing so. "It's a private case," you had told them. After catching up, your wife comes in. Amanda looks at you, surprised. "You have a wife?" You laugh gently. "Oh yes. Let me tell you how we met." TO BE CONTINUED IN BRIAN DENNIS: SABERTOOTH So? How did you like the mystery? Comments? Suggestions?

You do so. Dialogue: Elena You: What happened, Elena? You can tell me, right? You trust me? Elena: (hand trembles) Mateo. He told me everything. You: Told you what? Elena: You killed him. My son. He almost digged out. But you let loose the ball. You quietly talk her out if shooting you, mostly to check if Sergio's body is there. It really is. Amanda's too. But then a phone call rings from the Wall Number. This time, it's not Mateo. Dialogue: Mystery Man You: Hello? MM: I know where they are. You: Who is this? MM: I can't tell you. Just wait there. Keep both of yourselves out of range from any guns. Mateo's smokers are out there. You: What's going on? MM: No time to explain. Just tell her that Sergio isn't coming back, nor will Amanda, but they are both safe and free. (gunshot from that side) MM: I have to go. Remember what I said! (hangs up) His voice was kinda... young. What do you do? Trust the Mystery Man or not?
