  1. Probably a bit lame towards the end. Sorry Wilson. Interesting chain of thought but not a sequence I'm familiar with.

Under fire, freedom armed Eyes watching over blind. A message sent across the wave So home the sailors find. Seven seas and seven lands Bound to queen and crown, Majesty ever on the move And still above the ground. A keystone holding nothing fast Yet true to truth of law In turn is held by one alone And so embraced by all.
  3. Dudley gets another! standing (slide) Q __ R Y Y R (degree) E T F H __ A E
  4. Plainglazed gets #6! Well done. standing (slide) Q __ R Y Y R (degree) E T F H __ A (planter) J __ C JR
  5. Wilson tags number three! standing (slide) Q __ R Y Y R (degree) E T F H __ (planner) O UE E U I __ U (nut) J __ C JR
  6. LOL!! No friends, you're over analysing. Nothing so convoluted or cryptic. Example: (Holy) J S U __ Answer: N for Neptune (gas giants in order from sun) another: (Bars) F E V F T __ Answer: H for "Help" on top funtion bar of Internet windows display. Good luck!

Yes. The answer was posted by Aleeza110 but never acknowledged.
  8. No. And I should state . . . answers need to be supported by reason, otherwise, you might as well keep giving letter answers up to 25 times.
  9. Wilson pegs number 2. Tell you what, for every one solved I'll alter one clue. (slide) Q __ R Y M C A H N _Y_ *(nobility) H N A K X __ (degree) E T F H __ (relax) O UE E U I __ U (nut) J __ C JR
  10. Hmm, Not really a sequence I'm familiar with Too arbitrary. Different type of "degree."
  11. Hi EDM. No diffuculty really. It's not so hard, it just takes a bit of time and effort mulling over possibilities. N S E __ of course would be W for west. It can be anything though, and that's the tough part. That's also why I lent clues. They can be clues to the sequence itself or to the specific missing letter/ word. Consider relationships, well known phrases, people, symbolic progressions, etc. ANYTHING GOES!!!
  12. Hey PG. you saved this riddle from utter humiliation. Thanks.. I sort of like these kind so put it out there for anyone interested. Grayven used to play it out for fun. Spacing is important, yes. All follow a proper sequence. No cryptogram stuff, just first letter. Needs a descramble at the end. Thanks for playing . . . Cheers
