no, and it is not dark at all. It might help to look at the words seperately and see what comes to mind without the other and then see if there might be a tie in. Thanks so much for giving it a stab. Going back to yours.

chic, gonna suppose you realized that this one has no POW thus far and all mine to date have always had at least a tiny play on words. Alas, not the case this time and not the connection here I'm hoping will be found. Cant deny that what you have come up with is true. Will say yours, unlike mine, has nothing to do with the title (and is not one word).

Some of these I would agree are a stretch but these types are really tough to compose and the real subject I am wanting to reveal is the connection here between the two words.

I will say yes to your answer. Had a slightly different word. You can see why in my explanation below. My kids suggested this as a topic. Hope all who participated or who have checked this out enjoyed it as much as I did composing it.

Not the answer but I do like it alot. Almost fits. For a plasmid-like response, I think the first two lines of the second limerick dont quite fit without a little over stretching. I'm still confident all will agree in the end that the answer I have is exactly it.

No, sorry. The second word, generally speaking, has nothing to do with the first word. Strange as that sounds, the two should suggest a final connection/third word.

Though both are related to my two words and they both fit the puzzle, mine are different. I justify this by the connection mine make to a third word. Think you will see and be OK with it in the end. (This need not be a guessing game)

Right on track. Are these two guesses for the same word? If so, the first is soooo close and your second guess probably needs to be a little more obvious. If they are guesses for each word, then the first is again, soooo close but the second guess is not the second word. I hope that makes sense. If not please say so and I'll try and clarify before throwing everyone off.
