Just because I have sworn myself to a life of noodliness does not mean I am resourceless. I know how to split rations and conserve food better than anyone here, even you trigger-happy military buffs. You know nothing of my life other outside the prayers I say for you. In fact, I doubt you've actually taken the time to learn anything about anyone here. Think about that before you regard everyone aside from a select few as dispensible. We are here together, meaning it was part of the FSM's divine plan. You as a mortal should not question that. Or, put in your terms. More of us = more abominable snowman fodder = +1 for your own survival chances. Put in terms for everyone else? Food aside, we're actually more likely to survive if we stick together.

Kirk, from my understanding, you're on this trip because of blew all your money, and need to gain publicity for yourself and your company by completing this expedition. ...FSM bless your soul for having terrible intentions, but this murder could have something to do with someone wanting to financially ruin you. My friends.. relax. The Admiral has a point. While you had a reason to be here in the beginning, the adventure, what have you... you're of little survival benefit to the people here now. I think it's too late for turning back, so we'll probably just have to deal. Otherwise, I suggest you just make your way down the mountain, rent yourself a nice ski resort, and drink some hot cocoa. Then, get one of your fancy schmancy helicopters, get a crew up here, and maybe some more food? When it comes to actual climbing ability.. I think you're more of a threat than not.

Alright, I have something to propose. Hear me out. ..Why not start a trial of sorts? Kind of like lynchings down off the mountain, but with a punishment less severe than death? Maybe the accused will have to undergo some tests, get less food, less medical treatment, or *something* that makes this taken seriously. I know, with the exception of one, we're not savages, but we need to be able to continue up and investigate. Since we're capable of walking and talking, I think this works. At least it will keep us mentally entertained while go make some progress on Brontson's murder. FSM Bless.

Brontson would much rather worship the GOD THAT CREATED HIM than the DEMONS THAT KILLED HIM. Why are you even here with us? Scout is all the guidance we need. I apologize if our western religion disturbs you, but you have to realize our part of the world is vastly superior, ergo, we're worshipping the right God. Not like it matters. You're completely distracting us from what's important here. Why don't you go soothe the demons or something?

Then we can climb back down, renew our materials, and start over. I understand the importance in going up, but not if one of us poses a threat to the others. When climbing mountains, trust is key. Every action someone does here, be it a step in the wrong direction, getting sick, or killing someone for FSM's sake, affects everyone else. We are entirely interconnected, and the mountain should be the only threat. How many hours until dawn? If we just stop arguing and start investigating, this won't even be a problem.

I have faith that The Flying Spaghetti Monster will keep us safe, so long as we do what we are destined to do. That includes solving this murder. The mountain will be here when we wake up, in ten years, or in one thousand years, Gawd willing. The clues that will let us solve this and the people involved have limited life-spans. We have enough resources to solve this, pay our respects, and only then move on. WWFSMD? The immediate danger here is that one of us is a murderer and we don't even know why. Continuing on under those conditions is ridiculous.

Alright boys. I vote for complete transparency on this one. The knowing Flying Spaghetti Monster sees all anyway, but to deceive one's mortal brothers is a sin. I think we should investigate privately, but information should be brought to light in the main thread. We, as a group, should solve this, with haste, so we can continue on and complete our other objectives on the mountain. The assassin is likely someone we'll need, and for everyone's survival sake, I ask he complies with us while on the mountain. If you behave yourself instead of trying to run off, getting yourself killed, your punishment may be less severe. Thoughts?

..So guess who still hasn't watched the video, guys. @UtF: Whether the pointlessness of it all makes me sad or not (it doesn't; it makes everything so much more beautiful) is beside the point and doesn't change how the universe works. Any meaning you think your life has is one you create for yourself. Which is awesome,and yeah, live it up bro, but it's a bit unrealistic (and arrogant, but not in a bad way ) for anyone to think that anything they do will have an impact once it's all over. The universe may be expanding, potentially infinitely, but our lives, the life of our solar system, and even the life of our galaxy is very limited. Even if we beat the odds and are able to galaxy hop and continue our existence *forever*, so what? What does that mean? Is our point really as basic as survival? That's why we're here, but it doesn't give us anywhere to go.
