You don't need to believe in evolution for it to be real While with God you need to believe that he exists otherwise he wouldn't because the idea of God was created by people Evolution happened on it's own... people were merely observing and putting all the facts together, of course there will always be unanswered questions.. Think about it why would God create the world like it evolved instead of just randomly creating living beings? In order to understand how life was created you need to know biochemistry, molecular genetics and population genetics just to ask questions (not to make conclusions) and you are making your assumptions based on what? You are just probably repeating the same questions that other narrow minded people with no basic knowledge of the subject are asking! Let me help you with that one - IT'S ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE that a chromosome can be created from random molecules! Life was created and became more complex in time... it didn't happen over night and you need specific conditions to generate life anew. Those conditions were FAR from perfect even back then when life was created, but somewhere, somehow in a tiny pocket of optimum conditions life was ignited. One more question don't you think that it's highly improbable that an unbroken chain of ancestors (and I don't mean 2000 years but millions) eventually produced you? What were the odds for all of them to stay alive to reproduce and bring up that offspring to do the same thing. How many obstacles they had to overcome for you to sit in front of your computer and bash the very same process that enables you to live your life right now? Think about it!

This seams to be the thing that most creationists and people that don't believe in evolution overlook. Evolution is a process that never ends as long as there is life. Problem is that changes occur extremely slowly and nowadays in small life forms - insects mostly. Take fruit flies for example. A lot of their species are diversing into subspecies as I'm typing this. They might seam small and insignificant but when scientists are analyzing their DNA and especially their proteins they are witnessing evolution right before their eyes and I think that's fascinating. I agree with everything said above except this That was my last exam and trust me when I tell you that there are still a lot of things to understand and explain. But everyone who says that he/she doesn't believe in evolution I say - There's nothing to believe in IT'S A FACT - GO WITH IT!

Well if you have the word LAMP in 1-5 then you can put it as a trap in the 6-10! We still don't know how the trap thing will work, but this way it's more a game of strategy than just luck. So you have to guess how others might play and set the right traps for the right parts of the 20 word set!

One more thing...are they going to be just 3 or more letter words?? If only three then in the end we just might end up writing the same list over and over again... but if we'll have 4 or 5 letter words then we gonna have to use the two letter change lose 1 point rule because I don't think that 4 and 5 letter words could be easily changed 20 times?! For example time lime line live love lose... OK forget that I asked it works! So what do you think should you use the 2 letter change rule or not. I think it's better if we DON'T change two letters! One letter change only! Oh and another thing I'll use the list above time lime line live love So this is my list 1-5 and my trap can't be one of these words but for example I have to chose LIFE. So I can't use one of those words on the list to be my trap because I fall in the trap EDIT: One more thing maybe 20 words is too much... if we have 3 letters than 20 words is OK but when we have 4 and 5 letter words than maybe less... like 15 or something. You should try every word yourself if it's possible before you use it!

U.. I love that idea... for us to set traps! We should go like that 4 traps! That's better than my idea And as for the second one let's just leave it on luck

One more thing regarding my previous post. We should try both versions in practice to see how they work and then decide what should the exact rules be! So two rounds of test running this game, I think it's interesting and I can't wait to be a guinea pig! EDIT: Regarding my previous post... maybe your traps on certain position shouldn't be by the rules! We should write: hat hit hot how cow and you could go with no particular order hat - of course only the first two words should go by the rules! hit rat cow ... I think it would be definitely more difficult for you to set all the traps... So what do you think... did I think too much about this game?? Now you see how my brain works I'll probably have more suggestions...

The bonus word is cool too but this is my problem - in the end this game will more be based on luck that knowledge and logic. In "The Oddest Out" even if we used the dictionary we still had to think in order to choose the most common word... here again we, I assume, can use a dictionary but the outcome will only depend on pure luck, whether we hit the trap or the bonus word! I still don't know how this game will work so I can't give you any final conclusions, but judging the rules and everything it seams to me like it depends entirely on luck. I suggest that maybe we should set traps but only at certain positions for example 1. hat 2. hit 3. hot 4. rot 5. rat etc And then we only set a TRAP on position 3. to be HOT but if you choose HOT on any other position you don't lose any points! I think that this is better because if you choose HOT to be the trap word for the entire line most of the people will fall into that one. Or you choose a TRAP only for position 2. 4. 6. etc or you set an entire list of traps 20 words on how you put them in the order since you are not playing the game but hosting! So for example you compare your list of words with ours and on those positions where we have the same word as you do we fall in the trap and lose points. So by choosing clever we might avoid all the traps... In that case we can't have an option to change two letters. If you get stuck go back and redo it! I like the bonus idea too. That should be some weird word that works for the entire line regardless on the position where the contestant puts it. I hope these will help

I was reading trough these pages... well not all of it ADParker writes really long posts, I lose interest half way through. Try making a point in fewer sentences cause I like your reasoning This is my problem with religion - if God does exist why every religion has a different interpretation of God? Why is Christianity itself so divers? If there would have been God... wouldn't he somehow "shown" to humanity what is the and only way of believing in him? OK this will be trivial but, if one person is celebrating Christmas on 25th of December (Catholics) and the other on 7th of January (Orthodox Christians) and the third person doesn't go to school on Fridays (I can't remember what branch of the Christianity tree does that) because their religion is forbidding them... how can that come from the same God, can't he just make up his mind?? I know, I know, people decided - this is how we will interpret things "We are right and you others are wrong" and they are all Christians... where's the sense in that. That's where the lack of credibility lays... so many interpretations!

I think that the elimination system is better because if we play, I don't know how many rounds, and we will have to wait every time until everyone PMs, we will play this game till April! I think it's more dramatic that way Or maybe we should try couple of rounds where no one gets kicked out to see how it works. About the trap system... I think we should just see how it goes and then decide what to do.

I have posted many riddles and when I have a new one I put it in my signature and I color the number or otherwise mark that riddle as still unsolved. If you noticed I put the hints for the treasure hunt there too. After the riddle is solved I remove the color of the number or as in the case of the treasure hunt I add the solution link...

Just change the angle from where you are trying to read it Lover you eyes to be in the line with the desk (I have a PC) That helps for me!
