Hidden G inadvertantly awarded kristmark1 +25 points instead of the +15 points for guessing the word with two letters already logicked by (yet awarded to) others for the word AXON. Bong shorted Hidden G +10 points for guessing the word CYME. WombatBreath inadvertantly awarded himself +1 point for a word posted after a correct guess for the word GHEE. When the scores were readjusted to correct Bong's own posting, Bong mistakenly marked km as +83 and Kristmark1 as +25. The correct score for kristmark1 at that point is 98. I, Dej Mar, mistakenly (due to a misunderstanding of how the points were supposed to be awarded) awarded +10 points to Molly Mae for a logic that was presented after the correct answer, OYEZ, was posted, and shorted sks those +10, plus +5. In addition, I shorted TheCube +5 points for the word QOPH, +15 for the word IAMB, and +20 for the word DELI. You lost yourself one possible point by rejecting a guess of 'dore' as an invalid word as you claimed to not find it in one of the validation dictionaries, except as a proper noun. The word 'doré' (the e having the diacritical mark of an acute accent) is in fact listed in both TheFreeDictionary.com and the Oxford as an alternate common name for the walleye, a North American pikeperch (a fish). As a general rule in English, a diacritic is only a note of pronunciation or to make a word more distinct so not to confuse a reader its meaning when another word spelled otherwise has a different definition. Thus, 'dore' and 'doré' would be considered the same in the absence of diacritics. You may have lost another point by rejecting Hidden G's 'fila' for your word 'fizz' as you declared 'fila' was not found using Google's define: function. TheFreeDictionary.com (The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition) defines the word 'fila' as the plural of 'filum': a threadlike anatomical structure; a filament. Of course this rejection may have extended the guesses by one guessed word, yet it also 'stole' +10 points from Hidden G's logicked offer for 'FI--', with the '-I--' eventually awarded to kristmark1 and the 'F-ZZ' to fabpig with the correct guess of the word. But that might not be the needed title, as well.) My error in previous awarding of points was due to the rules posted that I was referred to, which is not how the scores have been handled here. The rules indicated that +5 points were awarded to each logicked letter (which is the same here), but +10 for guessing the word, nothing about awarding points for letters not logicked.
