Be pacifist, and hide in your house until the killers kill each other. If you HAVE to leave your house, travel with other pacifists so you have a higher chance of survival when there are killers about.

Hmmm. This is an ambiguous question I think. I read it originally as surviving one encounter, but it can also be understood to be the "last man standing."
