The whole family on the right crosses the river and then the whole left family crosses the river. Done! NO IDEA OF THE MONEY COST YOU FIGURE IT OUT

First in Family A son Daughter and baby will get in the boat and cross the river and B's son daughter and baby will get in it(3+2+1)*2=12rs
next dad mom and baby interchanges in same manner (5+4+1)*2=20
20+12=32rs

this riddle is impossible......
for exchanging the places .. family need 30$ but as only 3 of them can go at a time... one of them has to make 3 trips... which only the baby can make for 2 extra dollars( daughter requires 4 extra dollars) .... but if he makes 3 trips ... another family member has to also make 3 trips which is not possible......

No. dear it is not impossible.....you solve it in your first trial without knowing that .
the secret behind this puzzle is that the two babies are twins!!!

The son of one family was married to daughter of the other family,having two babies as twins,one of the babies was with his mother,while the other with his father on the other side of the river.

River Cross puzzle (however i believe it has something extra to this title b/c there was two river cross made by WG )
it belongs in New logic/Math puzzles
