yes, they can communicate before or during, yes a prisoner may be randomly selected directly after being selected again. do the prisoners have paper and something to write with? hmmm... sure.

Hi, I just joint this group this morning and I had a look at your riddle. Are the prisoners allowed to collaborate before and/or after? Are they all housed in the same room? When the prisoners are picked at random, is it possible that an already picked prisoner can be picked again? Can the prisoners have paper and something to write with? Sorry for the many questions...just want to make sure I...
