To the west were the passerines
the rams
the gold rushers
and the birds by the bay
And across the fence lightning flashed
over the pirates,
natives,
and Oj's getaway
To the south was another bird
with a cat
and more pirates
living with those who could not help but to pray
Next door to the bush family
with another cat
a donkey
and the gods from another day
Up north were another set of birds
that egdar allen poe once told of
lions and tigers and bears, oh my
steel and cheese, barbarians
and a common last name
And on the east were the flyers
and the swimmers
and the stampeders
the old west
the tall ones
and those who's loyalty to their country stood the test.
They come to be viewed on the holiest of days
become victors, losers, or equal then go there seperate ways.
