The letters will "read" left to right as presented unless there is a descriptor that directs otherwise.

Thanks to tiger_lily111 and No1slight for their early input, Chicory for some key reasoning later and Scottie for sluffing off at work and figuring out the answer and a majority of the methodology and to Chess_Vixen for wrapping it up. Hope all who participated and those that have followed or othewise checked out this puzzle had a ball. Think some have had enough for now including myself. Will revisit this format after a while.
