I do check spoilers if i get stuck-- otherwise try to answer myself first. that is why i was resurrecting old riddles earlier on. now i do try to look for a

'you got it" or 'yep!' first. but i did read the "read before posting" info--- Many times i can't evn start an answer without a hint from somebody else's answer

I did read the 1st and 2nd part answers somebody else had---but still can't fit 3rd part still pretty much free associating here...

Yeah, funny, if anything, I thought the third part would be the easiest part to solve. I pretty much laid it out plain as day for everyone. I had it written one way, but then saw a possible conclusion everyone would come to. I wanted to make it VERY clear what I meant. For some reason, it's where everyone's stuck. I find that funny. Is it only the obvious things that no one gets, because it's too obvious?

haha. Well, I'd say the

"smell the fun" has two purposes. One, to throw you off (which it did very well), and two, to let you know the exact sort of word I'm looking for, for "penny."
