The thing about writing riddles is. You know the answer from the beginning, where others do not. Sometimes, you think you were elusive, and you were not. And other times, you think your answer is like a black eye-obvious and in your face. And...it is not. I still don't know. 0 Guest
persuasion/flattery? Not quite....think about something a little less abstract, the answer is a noun and verb, when I wrote this I was thinking about the noun. This may not help, but maybe it will. Thanks for the advice. It's easy to assume that everyone is thinking along the same lines. Maybe it is tougher than I thought. I'll post some more hints if needed (maybe after a few more guesses). Hope it gets you going on the right track. Oh, I figured as much. Don't give hints, (I say) unless people ask for them, or stop guessing on it. You want people to use their head a little. 0 Guest
Artist? / art Sorry, just realized I should probably give feedback. Artist isn't a verb. Art, although it can be a verb, it isn't as good of a verb as the answer (at least I don't think so).

0 Guest
gems? Sapphire, ruby, amethyst, jade, etc. Oh, I should have added some lines to this one. Good answers, but not what I'm looking for. The right answer is nowhere near as valuable...and it isn't "mine". I like that answer, though. It doesn't quite fit the first line perfectly.
