0 plasmid
the intestines??? John B takes this one! Growling and hissing, although denied (stomachs growl, and occasionally make a hissing noise that people often deny) Mortar and pestle (teeth) Slither and write, as well as feel the wave (peristalsis) Reaching with fingers (microvilli) Master of hoggish knaves (gluttons, slave to the gut) Equator (the middle of a person) The isles (pancreatic islets) and the beans (of the kidney variety) Edit: spoiler with explanation Edited April 30, 2009 by plasmid
0 Guest
John B takes this one! The clue that had me worried was living on the isles: you would have to know about the islets in the pancreas (where insulin is made) to get that one. Oh, so simple, I didn't think that would be the misunderstood line. Very good (and intriguing) riddle, plasmid.
