Guest
Ok, my crude first attempt (probably way, way too obvious): Identify where I live. -------------- My home is crowded, a dozen of us share equal space in this small place. We are civil here, but each unique Each knows his place, so to speak. I've brothers and sisters everywhere, All with families of equal size, and similar temperaments, if not the same, And all have houses, like in name. We all speak truth, one by one, When asked, we answer, sometimes alone. Sometimes two answer, often many, We speak the truth as asked, by any. How you hear my household's voice Is your affair, and your sole choice. Ask beauty of me, and we will share A beauty proportionate to your care. Reckless inquiry will yield you truth, But a truth as ugly as your unconcern. Think, and feel, before you ask, And Truth and Beauty, you will discern. I'm going to have to figure how to make the answers more exclusive, unique. This is fun! Thanks, guys. Baba

Ok, my crude first attempt (probably way, way too obvious):
Identify where I live.
--------------
My home is crowded, a dozen of us
share equal space in this small place.
We are civil here, but each unique
Each knows his place, so to speak.
I've brothers and sisters everywhere,
All with families of equal size,
and similar temperaments, if not the same,
And all have houses, like in name.
We all speak truth, one by one,
When asked, we answer, sometimes alone.
Sometimes two answer, often many,
We speak the truth as asked, by any.
How you hear my household's voice
Is your affair, and your sole choice.
Ask beauty of me, and we will share
A beauty proportionate to your care.
Reckless inquiry will yield you truth,
But a truth as ugly as your unconcern.
Think, and feel, before you ask,
And Truth and Beauty, you will discern.
