I don't know, but this made the most sense to me: Sheers: The S's are the snakes The E's are in the middle next to each other the r is the beak, like a bird's beak? the y from a previous post made sense, but it didn't fit. flip it upside down and it does.... Finger holes (eyes) and the blades resemble a squawking beak. Make less by cutting. Drunk toast: "Sheers!" Clipper(s): ship with sails.
