Okay well there was a man and he was in a cabin, on a snowy hill, and the doors are locked from the inside. There is no sign of any way to have gotten in from the outside or out from the inside, unless you unlocked the doors. He is found lying dead on the floor, bleeding near his chest. There was no sign of weapon in the cabin. How did he die? :huh:

He got an icicle, went inside, locked the doors, stabbed himself in the heart, and fell on the floor dead.

YAH REPLYING TO MY OWN THING!!!GUESS HOW OLD I AM???? 10!!! BUT MY IQ IS HIGHER THAN OBAMA'S AND HANNAH MONTANA'S!!!!YAH!!!AND I AM SO NOT SAYING THE ANSWER!!!!!I GOT THIS FROM G.A.T.E. AND THERE'S MORE COMING!!!ONE PUZZLE EACH DAY!!!YAH!!! :rolleyes::)

Yeah just a word of advice... DON'T put the spoiler below the question and if you do put answer on it. I actually had heard the question before but some other people may have not. Anyway, I'm 13. I joined this site when I was 10 or 11, although I forgot about it until 2 weeks ago. Also, isn't Hannah Montana's IQ like 100? Or less? And Obama's is only 126 or something like that- that's not too high. I think most people on this site are pretty intelligent and that a good amount have iq's way above that. (also, I heard this in my gifted program.. )

same, im part of the GATE program too, and my IQ is 178 and im only 12!!!

I've never had my iq formally tested, but I just took the SAT and got a 1920 as a 7th grader (I actually bubbled in wrong on a couple of things so it may be higher). Also, if you have ever taken the CoGAT test, I got a 150 on one section, which is the ceiling. And I just tested at a college graduates reading level, but unfortunately, as I said, I've never taken an actual IQ test. At our school, they use the CoGAT test to get in, but I live in Texas which is probably different than yours. Wow 178, thats really good!

Yeah I've heard lots of variations on this puzzle......

not trying to brag...but I also took the SAT in 7th grade and got 1990!!! so close to 2000!!! unfortunately my reading level is at above high school, though they never specified whether college, or whatever...don't know if i've ever taken the CoGAT...

1990 is really good... I only got 1920 like I said. I was really freaked out because at the last minute, I accidentally erased 5 answers in the wrong section and had to randomly fill them in.. that probably affected my score. Are you in 7th grade this year? And did you take the SAT as part of the Duke TIP thing?

Folks, remember to perform searches before posting. A riddle that is basically the same is this one can be found by performing a search for icicle.
