My logic may be flawed, but I can only see 4 possible words left (none of which are nouns I'd expect on your desk). If I've made an error I would very much like to be enlightened where... aardvark - x is the 1st pivot point The answer must contain a single A or R or one of (potentially multiple) D, V or Ks EXCEPT THAT * scissoRs and pyRamid have R in the aaRdvaRk positions with only 'o' scores, thus the answer cannot contain an R * mAttress - oo rules out the second A position AND flyspecK - ooo rules out the K So we are left with just one of the following in the correct place - A??DVA?? Instead of X it should have been xo. I'm sorry about that.
