0 Shakeepuddn
That is a great riddle! Thank you Braiser. That means a lot. I was especially proud of this one, despite a few others that have been cast aside. I was tending toward something codified, such as to make a word or answer from the notes a-g. Not much except "be deaf" to Beethoven or something. Then I just meshed a rhyme-riddle. Again, thanks.
0 Guest
Ok, wow! This is one well formed riddle. Congratulations! No ambiguity, nothing else fits. 5 stars for sure. Well done
0 Guest
I would have given it 10 stars but there was only 5! I'm testing it on my friends!
0 Guest
Can you explain it a little further? I'm having trouble figuring out where everything fits with music... Is it a scale specifically or just different music terms?
0 Shakeepuddn
Explanation of Riddle (In threes) I’m an underage Army officer in a four story house Underage = Minor (chord), Army officer = Major. Four story house is the enclosed, five-line graph on which notes are written. From basement to roof, a scurrying mouse. Notes can be below graph or above On every long floor, and stairs between, These are the places I am seen. Notes are between lines (long floors) and bisected by lines (stairs). A faerie driver, a spot, an egg, A single note with a stem looks like a tiny golf driver. Without, just a spot, or can be an open whole note, commonly referred to as an egg. For the gift I give all men beg. (music, naturally) A short little letter to a friend (note) Signed with seven names. (Notes a,b,c,d,e,f,g) The end (this means I needed something to make it rhyme ) Clue: Holding hands at the hop (for sheet music, notes are joined) Hit the bars when we stop (Double bar on sheet music means music ends)
