In lieu of a desk you see a big sheet of paper with some writing on it:
Welcome to the office brand new guy,
Come find your desk, don't be shy!
About your skills they did rave and rant,
Prove them to us, your desk is by a plant!
You glance around the office and can see about 6 plants:
One by the heavy-set guy's desk,
One by the copy machine,
One by the water cooler,
Another by the vending machine,
Yet another by the break room,
and finally a 6th by the lady with the weird glasses.
Everyone seems to be holding in their laughter and you're quite flustered,
but then a good-looking person of the opposite sex hands you a post-it note with some help:
