0 Guest
Don't see deep purple or men at work. Deep purple is the purple wall?
0 Guest
Sure, the building painted a 'deep purple' has to represent Deep Purple. There are several 'men at work' in the picture. There is 'the police' officers walking their beat and the man 'smashing pumpkins' can be said to be working. There's also 'the carpenters', the 'men without hats', to the left of 'the eagles', even though they don't seem to be working very hard. Oh, and there's the man who works for 'the postal service' emptying the mailbox.
0 Guest
Ah good. Wonder if we can find more than the 75. I've never looked this up to see a complete list. It's fun for me so I don't want to "cheat." My best was around 60.
0 bonanova
How about ... 21. Doors 22. Cars 23. Led Zep 24. Kiss [the um, interesting couple under the traffic light] 25. Madonna [pic in store window - left?] 26. Red hot chili peppers 27. Twisted sister - the contortionists in the middle. 28. Eagles?
0 Guest
Martini gave us these, but they were not counted in the ongoing list: 29. Men Without Hats (various males lacking haberdashery) 30. The Carpenters (working on a wooden railing near the Eagles) 31. The Police (in front of The Cars) (he also listed "the postal service" - but I've never heard of such a group) I also found: 32. U2 (u written twice on building) 33. Blur (man on right behind fruit stand) 34. Styx (right beside Matchbox 20) 35. Beach Boys (two guys with surfboards) 36. Hole (in the middle of the intersection) 37. The Monkeys (took a bit to figure out what all the King Kongs were for [even if they are not technically monkeys]) 38. Radiohead (guy crossing the street with a ghetto blaster for a head) 39. White Zombie (on the left) unsure: Whitesnake (wrapped around the pole - but is it a white snake or a white-bellied snake?) Crowded House (two windows crammed with people - but that looks more like Crowded Office) Jewel (the necklace under the fruit stand - though Jewel is a person, not a band)
0 Guest
unsure: Whitesnake (wrapped around the pole - but is it a white snake or a white-bellied snake?) Never figured that one out as I was - distracted - by the participants.

0 Guest
Cpotting, thanks for compiling what have been submitted so far. Anyway, I think what's below the m&m's are Nince Inch Nails because they do look like long nails. I'd like to add another: 64. The Lemonheads (beside the pumpkins) 65. Iron Maiden (behind 2 men in black) 66. The Doors (massive doors? next to spoon) 67. Cheeky Girls (below whitesnake) 68. The Killers/The Blood Brothers
0 Guest
69. Television 70. Pet Shop Boys 71. Skinny Puppy Regarding #50, I Googled Cypress, and I'm not so sure that's a Cypress. If not, 'One Tree Hill' could be what's being mentioned there (or it could be both).
0 bonanova
Oops, 66 repeats 21. I'll contribute one to keep the count right, 71. The Cranberries [lower right] [url:a670f]http://www.cranberries.com/

0 Guest
Welcome to the boards, carlosn27! Presidents of the United States of America - Pics posted on the wall next to White Zombie (aka, dead kennedys). Well, if that's Jack and Bobby, Presidents of the United States of America doesn't work as Bobby was never the Prez. the main street band Has there been a band with that name that's well known enough to make the list? also, where do you see Skinny puppy? On the sidewalk in front of the pet shop. and what do the hari krishnas dressed in white and the pink scissors mean? The pink scissors are probably The Scissor Sisters. So, 71. Jewel 72. Scissor Sisters
