Question

Binary: 2011000103011000013011100113011010013011000112

Hint: The solution is in lowercase.

*ok seen as this has been here for a little while and no one has got it yet, I might as well put the solution in*

This is a misdirection puzzle, the 2's & 3's are there to throw you off, get rid of the 2's & 3's and that leaves you with (Binary) to decode.

I wont print the decoded text here, I will leave that up to you

base four or half octal can be common in certain mathematical uses but is not a typical base, which are:

binary, base ten, base 7, octal (8) and hexadecimal (16) which uses A, B, C, D, and E to symbolize 11, 12, 13 14, and 15 as single digits

I know a LOT A LOT about bases i think i put a riddle on here bout em once

anyway i assume your 'riddle' is to transfer this from base 4 to base 10?

dates, days, weeks

for example, 58 days = (56=7*8=[8*10=80])+2 extra days = 82

(8 weeks and 2 days)

however if truly in base 7, this would of course be 115 as 80 is actually 11*7 with 3 extra

but we dont use it past the first place, ie, 82 would stay 82 when dealing with dates, if anything, it would be base 4 for that decimal place, for weeks in a month, and it would be 202 which would mean 2 months, 0 weeks, 2 days

but i didnt mean use of base 7 as a numerical base, but more as a sort of background thing used every day that people do without realizing their calculating bases

Again, i saw this one that has been "dead" for a few years...but no one gave the answer to it...and it's unfortunate that this user hasn't had a post in a year and a half (and this was their only one) and that no one solved it...because that probably means they won't verify the answer, but believe me, it's right...

So "BASIC" to me...yay ASCII!!
