Genital warts can be transfered from scrotum, wenis, and labia. You can check for them by dropping white vinegar on the area. They lighten if positive. And you can transfer from mouth to mouth. Oral - is fail safe" Obviously the rhythm method is not safe against disease at all, but disease is not what he was talking about. I will be honest with you and tell you if it is true or not. Why would anyone think you'd be dishonest? What sort of expert are you in contraceptive methods? You can check for them by dropping white vinegar on the area. They lighten if positive. This may not be an appropriate topic but if the kids in here are talking about Love and all that then these things need to be addressed. And so you all know I have volunteered as a youth mentor and counselor for kids age 12-22. I've also taught k-5th grade and had to go to numerous classes on dealing with these situations like aids, meth, running away, cutting, abuse, sex, disease, etc.... If we talk about the good then we need to bring up the bad. The whole picture needs to be addressed. If the kids are old enough to have a girlfriend then they need to know the facts! I know several women who have gotten pregnant using the rythym method, the withdrawl method, and even while they were on their period (yes, I talked to my OB...it is possible to get pregnant while on your period!) I can't even count the number of people who have gotten pregnant using condoms (take both of my adopted sons birthmothers, for instance - one of which it was her FIRST TIME!) I have friends who have gotten pregnant after their husband had a vascectomy...I even know a woman who got pregnant after having a tubal-ligation. I can't even tell you how many people I know got pregnant even though their doctors told them it was medically impossible. So, safe sex? It doesn't exist. Honest. Girls & Boys - keep your pants on or be prepared to wake up at all hours of the night to a screaming infant who wants to drink a bottle then spit half of it up on you and spew the other half into it's diaper only after it has transmorgrified into the most foul-smelling toxic gush you can imagine. 5 minutes of excitement isn't worth forgoing your dreams. So does that mean that more than 5 minutes is ok? And why pay money to buy a magazine where there is a plethora of material on line for free? On a serious note, coming from a guy who's had two pregnancy scares from his last two girlfriends; 1) the withdrawal method doesn't work. My ex ended up having a mis-carriage, not sure if it was self-induced or not but yeah. 2) I don't care if she says she's on the pill or whatever and that she doesn't like condoms. If you decided to not practice abstinence always use 2 forms of protection! Still no fail-safe, but it will definitely lower your chances of becoming an insta-parent. As PG stated, abstinence is the only safe sex and fail safe method to prevent pregnancy. I mean shoot, I was conceived because of the 'just the tip' method.
