0 Guest
Um i dont under stand how to do thuis please explain edit nvm forgot read read instrucions carfully These are just simple substitution of letters for other letters. The substitutions are always consistent, so if E is L in this quote, it will always be L, and whatever something stands for, always remains the same throughout. The goal is to figure out what letters substitute for what, and find out the original message before this encryption. You have to use some simple clues and starters to get started. =P

0 Brandonb
What is written without effort is in general read without pleasure - Samuel Johnson Good job starfish. I figured that this quote would be a very difficult one to figure out, or at least get started. If you don't mind sharing, where did you start this one? 0 Guest
Good job starfish. I figured that this quote would be a very difficult one to figure out, or at least get started. If you don't mind sharing, where did you start this one? The three, two letter words that start out with E, that was my starting clue, having to most likely be 'I's until Starfish beat me Though it doesn't always work, E is the most commonly used letter in the English Alphabet
0 Guest
I figured out the EQ and EL first..that gave me the S----- --NS-N which made me guess Samuel Johnson. Once I substituted those letters into the rest of it the other letters were pretty easy to guess. Good puzzle
