Actually Ajo's often a few degrees cooler than Glendale. But a few degrees cooler than Hot as Hell is still Hot as Hell.

We print our newspaper at Pueblo Publishers on 59th Avenue just north of Grand. To get there we head north on the 101 and exit on east bound Glendale. So we pass by your stomping grounds on a weekly basis.

It's just 7. I can pull more birds out if I look at some patterns in the same fashion as a Rorschach ink blot. However those birds weren't intentional.

Using Rorschach View it's possible to pull many, many birds, faces etc. from any scene. I believe that is what Octavio Ocampo does to create his paintings.

It's still awesome. I'm not exactly at the stadium but, not that far away. Close to Phoenix. We just had a nice monsoon. Our first in a long time. Gratefully speaking. I'll be checking on stuff now and then. B)) Welcome to the Den.

The two other birds are within the big birds wings, in front of the two little birds on each side. So 1 is the big one, then the four little ones, and 1 in front of each pair of the smaller birds.

Well I must be going blind. I could only see the obvious 5. Darn it! I'm normally quite good at these things.

Where are the other 2?

Antz, I had thought you had an over active imagination but it's occurred to me 15 birds _can_ be seen in the 4th iteration of the this self-similar fractal. And the 4th iteration is definitely hinted at in the painting!

15 is a valid answer

i could see 7

You can see the two "invisible" white birds within the wing gaps of the large bird. Good job!

This is what I thought to be the correct answer. But some can see 8 "invisible" white birds within the wing gaps of the 4 smaller birds. I can also see these 8 tiny birds. 8+7 is 15. So 15 is also a good answer.
