Not really think again

You have ten candles in your dining room.

So does it depend on how many you have in the rest of your house? Please don't tell me the answer is 7...

IF the candles were lit, you'd eventually have zero - they'd burn up leaving nothing but puddles.

1st, This op has poor punctuation and spelling, so a play-on-words answer to this riddle is pretty much out of the question.

2nd, If "the rest never get blown out" then there is no "in the end." Because they would melt down then burn out. Leaving 3 that didn't melt down to nothing.

3rd, You never said how many were lit in the beginning, so the possible answers range from three to ten, depending on what you were looking for. Though it seems the answer you are looking for is Zero.

You'd have 3 -- the ones that were blown out.

Oops, I missed that part! And I was so proud of myself for finally getting one.... Thanks for setting me straight.

See what I mean about Canabalistic? Don't take it personal, Sagekid. And, I for one understood the intention of the wording of the riddle right off the bat. You're doing good, stick with it. :)
