cats:

Day 983 of my captivity.

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.

They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some s ort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.

The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am. Bastards.

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willin g to return. He is obviously retarded.

The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now................

Do we have to now start saying that "I have nothing against cats" in this forum, as everyone does when they do a blonde joke?

dogs are friends, loyal and playful and can sense when you feel bad and try to comfort you.

cats - you are there to provide a service for them, that's all...you feed them, you rub their backs (when they want you to), it's hard to train them to stay out of certain places, like the couch/shelves/etc knocking over stuff, and they couldnt care less how you feel, they just want you to pay attention to them when they want it (not otherwise).

If, by some stretch of the imagination, you've gotten a cat that doesnt condone to these facts, then you've gotten the exception to the rule.

and yes, dogs ARE potty trained, they are trained to go outside of the house in the yard....it's not like they are peeing inside the house all the time. Yes, it would be easier if they were smaller and tidier so they can go in a litter box, but they are bigger and messier, so you work with that.

Ridiculous! Cats are far more intelligent and much more affectionate. They are clean, playful, and fairly undemanding. They can be trained easily with positive reinforecment. just because they want a little attention does not make them needy, and independant is different than antisocial.

Cats will use a litterbox Without being trained. They naturally like to bury their feces, and are shown by their mother that a litterbox is the best alternative to sand or dirt.

Why is it hard to keep them off shelves? because they are agile enough to get there.

would you rather have a friend or a filthy slave?

After reading the past 2 comments, I decide to start a new topic to see which animal will get more support. By the way, I love all animals. I first had a dog and many years later , I had a cat. Now I got a shed full of crickets. I believe it is what you are to your pet that makes them good to you. Not spoiling rotten. Continued in the opening of my topic. :)in OTHERS!
