Using the alphabet as a base-26 system, and only moving forward in the alphabet, there's a difference of 11 to move from N to Y, a difference of 25 letters to go from Y to X, and a difference of 41 (15+26) to go from X to M. 25-11=14, and 41-25=16, so the next number must be x-41=18, which works out to be x=59. Z turned counter-clockwise 90º is "N" Y turned counter-clockwise 90º then turned back 90º is "Y" X turned counter-clockwise 90º then turned back 180 (90+90) is "X" W turned counter-clockwise 90º then turned back 270º (90*3) is "M" And V turned counter-clockwise 90º then turned 360º (90*4) is ">" I think.
