Question

Once again, a puzzle ripped from my book. I created an image (not the greatest) that is similar to the one in the book. I'll quote what the puzzle says.

Not including the words in the question (or those above), there are six words on this page. What are they?

13OLD, it was you who shot 13ROOKS (BROOKS)

or is it four words

No - there is no deception here - all listed words are what they say, nothing more. Good try, though.

White

Geez...I thought this one was at least a LITTLE challenging! I was seeking a different answer, but this one works just as well. Good work (and for bonus points, what was the word I was seeking?)

not the greatest

or those above

nooooooo...those are kind of excluded as stated in question.

so many good ones on this one - invisible was the answer, but white worked just as well, as hidden, etc. Well done everyone

I am feeling quite stupid, could someone explain the answer?

White blends in with the paper...

everything is written in what they are

Example:

Resverse is written backwards,

Bold is written in bold,

ect. and white would be written in white (and you cant see it but its there) ;)

And here I was seeing 12 words.

In addition to the obvious, there are: verse, old, arrow, ever, lob, row, ran

I like the solution. I'm irritated at myself for looking at spoilers before seriously thinking about it.
