Question

:ph34r: We all know that the sunlight is reflected in such a way that the only color not reflected is blue, note the blue skys. What would the circumstances need to be in order for blue to be reflected and another color show up in the sky?

Actually, you have it a little backwards. It is the blue (shorter wavelength) that is reflected off of the gas molecules in the atmosphere causing the sky to be blue. A time when the sky appears a different color would be in the evening when the light must travel through much more atmosphere to reach your eyes, thus giving it more oportunity to reflect the higher wavelength colors.
