Guest
On the street where live there is a sequence of house numbers that goes 7, 9, 8.... did somebody have problems counting when they numbered the houses?
0 Guest
If this is a normal street, with odd numbers on one side and even numbers on the other, it's quite common that the numbers don't "line up" exactly. If house 6 is on a very big block of land, it's quite likely that the next houses will be 7 and 9 on the odd side of the street, before you get to 8 on the even side. 0 Guest
the house number is 798..
0 Guest
Assuming "in sequence" permits numbers going back and forth across the street to compensate for the odd/even scenario, then how about House 1 is 79, and house 2 is 80, so there is your 798 sequence. 0 Guest
no it is not number 798, neither is it 2 houses numbered 79 and 80. There are 3 houses next to each other on my street numbered 7 and 9 and 8 in that order Edited January 25, 2012 by Nep Ton

0 Guest
The street ends in a culdesac where the houses on one side are numbered 7, 9 with 9 being at the farthest point and as you continue around, the other side of the streets numbers pick up with 8. Of course, that would be followed by 6, 4, 2.
0 Guest
I live on a similar street. The numbers occur in a culdesac.

It is easy and it is just being considerate of others. Just click on the capital S in the blue box...it is pretty self explanatory!
