Put all of the other marbles in the other bowl. If you pick this bowl, you have a 49/99 chance of going free - about 50/50. Together, your odds of escape are (.5 + .5*(49/99)), or about 75%. Unless we cheat in some sneaky way - for example, warm up some of the white marbles by holding onto them for a while - I think this is the best we can do? But if the problem is mathematical then prisoner has only 50-50 chance whether he mixes 25white and 25 black marbles in both bowls or he puts 50 black marbles in one bowl and 50white marbles in other.
