How is this possible? easy, only two people went fishing. both men have kids as well as having fathers of their own. thus both men are fathers of their own kids and children of their fathers. but none of these men's children or fathers came on the trip, just the two men. They all caught a fish, but what if one father had two sons present and the other father went without family present? Technically this is 2 fathers & 2 sons...Grandfather is father #1 and his son is also a father. Technically there are also 2 sons....young boy is his father's son, and his father is Grandpa's son. So although only 3 ppl are on the trip, the 4 titles (2 fathers, 2 sons) exist. Each person caught 1 fish...3 ppl x 1 fish= 3 fish! Right?
