Question

Last night I believe i made a huge mistake. I broke up with my boyfriend and now that we're seperated i feel alone, empty, and suicidal. I dont know whether i should go back to him or whether to just try and move on. I love him with every piece of my broken heart. But is it worth it??

Life can be tumultuous at times. But it isn't the end of the world just because one bad thing happens to us. Breakups are an emotional time. There are a lot of pent up emotions bottled up inside you. You need time to let things settle and look at it with a calmer mood.

I'm no expert, but a good way to calm yourself might be to find something you enjoy doing. If you like to draw, draw. If you like to write poetry, write poetry. If you like to be athletic, go for a run. Find something that gives you comfort and just focus on that for a while to see if your mind relaxes. We can't always know what the answer is, so sometimes time is the only thing that can really set us straight.

bam. youtube is owned by google. google is all knowing. bam.

but yeah, i agree with dawh: focus on something you like. theres a reason you broke up. wait AT LEAST 2 weeks before you get into anything else, and clear your head. so yeah.

Love is its own kind of drug - mainly endorphins. So you can literally go through physical & emotional withdrawal. Finding other (legal, safe) ways to boost your endorphin levels can help a lot.

(What do YOU like to do, that doesn't involve being with him? Meditate, read, sports, window shopping, music, write, movies, clubs, etc.)

Positive reinforcement helps emotionally & mentally.

I know I didn't want to hear this as a teenager, but - talk to your mom/female adult parental-type figure. They need to know you hurt so they can help support you.

And give it time.

I know its very tough time for you.i just wanna say you that at first you must realise that every relation has to go through hard time to test the level of commitment.you said you broke up with your bf but does it means that you have broke up with his memories, sweet moments, ups and down of life...i hope not.so according to me give your relationship some space and try to be contact with your boyfriend just as friends.gradually all will be good.

Its better to train your bad dog than getting another dog....'no offence(just a metaphor).all the best.
