Greetings to all Forum Homework Helpers,

Given: "If a is an element of {-5, - 2, -1, 0, 1, 3} and b is an element of {-7, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 3}, find the smallest and largest values for a - b."

I got 10 as the largest value because 3 - (-7) = 10. To find the smallest value, I took -5 - 3 or -8. Are my answer reasonable. Again, I got 10 for the greatest value and -8 for the smallest value. Tell me what you think. Thanks ahead of time.
