I was right: The one on the left adds up to 1,083,676,269 and the group on the right adds up to: 137,174,205 . So what are we missing? 0 Guest Posted January 12, 2011 Report Share Posted January 12, 2011 they are the same, the left and right hand sides are inversed ie LHS = 123 then RHS = 321, the sums are horizontal not vertical and are made by summing the individual digits i.e LHS=(1+2+3) RHS=(3+2+1) LHS = 6 RHS = 7 LHS = RHS.
