Of course, this rarely occurs as total darkness doesn't appear anywhere in nature; there's always some form of light levels present. If the intent of your post was "sense" rather than "see", then bats would take the prize as they use echolocation, an enhanced sense in which they use sonar to create auditory images of their surroundings. A bat would be able to locate things using echo location and the Owl would have the best hearing of the three, but to actually "see" anything: None of the three.
