Ok so I sat here thinking of a good riddle to make and i finally came up with this..

I never end but have a beginning

I never lose but im always gaining

My head and tail are both equal

My middle slender as a bee

Whether I stand on head or heels,

quite the same to you or me

But if my head should be cut off,

the matter's true though passing strange

Directly to nothing I change

Others bask in its glory

Many ask of its story

There are two answers. The whole riddle just doesnt mean one of the answers, its all jumbled up together. its a little tricky, but unless I get both answers, the puzzle is not solved.

The numerals "8" and "0". And,"8"is similar in shape to a "bee", that is, "B".

I don't know if you intended the pun of "eight" and "ate" (always gaining).

I say "timeless", because sideways, it's the symbol for infinity...truly 'endless'....ha, ha, ha.
