You could forget 50% of what you know, or you could forget 25% of what you know, either way you are knowing less, you are not knowing more just cuz you forgot less. Though it could be rewritten as "the more you retain", though it doesn't need a problem, it's not a paradox but a circle-of-life type thing. Awesome!
