This item has measurements clearly marked on its side. The measurements are correct. The designers knew what they were doing and they did it intentionally. For instance, one that is marked at 6'4" is really only about five and a half tall. What is the object?

The rulers on the walls of restaurants by the door that don't reach all the way to the bottom so they aren't as tall as they say they are unless hanging up.
