this sequence follow the rule....add 2 then add 1 follow by adding of 1,wen the next sequence starts the first we get by subtracting of 2,2,1and 2*i,

the middle no we get by adding 1,then next no by adding 2,1,2.after the new sequence start,we have to add follow the rule.

then the next no will be 5.i=1,2,3.....

im seeing

5 or even possibly 11, reason being 5 is only missing number under 10 and above 2.

Plus it seems to go 2 sequential then jump to the furthest unused outside number until we arrive in the middle. starting as 2,3 Jump 4 Jump ?(5) Jump 6, 7 >Jump 8 > Jump 9.

11 possibly an answer because if five is skipped than it might be that multiples of five are skipped, so 5 10, leaving only 11 but this solution is very unlikely

seriously i can make that question mark equal anything i want and have it make sense.

i don't understand your explanations for the answer 5, they make little sense.

I agree with your statement but when the intent of the OP is realized, I am also pretty confident you will agree as to the single best answer.
