A man came home drunk, turned off

the lights and went to sleep

when he woke up and looked out of the window

Then he saw numberous dead bodies outside

In despair, the man killed himself

Why did the man killed himself and

what happened?

so the man lived in a lighthouse...he turned off the beacon and as a result the ships didn't see the land during the night and were wrecked. i'm guessing he was overwhelmed by guilt or something like that and committed suicide
